Infinity Cigars Day Shift Prelight
Infinity Cigars is a collaboration between CK, Shailesh, and Sanj Patel. The team launched Infinity Cigars in 2024. CK (CIGARZATSUNRISE) and Shailesh (CIGARZ24X7) manage humidors for multiple premium cigar retailers throughout New York.
Infinity launched Day Shift alongside Night Shift as their initial release in August 2025. The Day Shift is offered in two vitolas: a 6 x 52 Toro and a 6 x 54 Perfecto. The blend is a Nicaraguan puro with a 5-year-aged Habano wrapper, and 3-year-aged binder and filler leaves. Sanj Patel handled the blending and construction at his factory in Nicaragua.
The wrapper is a gorgeous light brown with an oily sheen. The cigar is really nicely finished with a coiled pigtail and a triple cap. The aromas on the foot and wrapper are of toasted cedar and oak. The draw is perfect with notes of cedar and toasted wheat.

Infinity Cigars Day Shift First Third
The Day Shift starts with an excellent smoke output. The notes on the palate are of toasted cedar, barley, and light earth. The retrohale has tones of vanilla, sweet cream, cocoa powder, hay, and red pepper flakes. The strength of flavor is medium plus. The finish is medium with notes of vanilla and red pepper flakes. The overall profile is sweet, spicy, and earthy. I’m excited to see where it lands after the spice calms down. The ash is tight, the burn line is razor sharp, and the draw is fantastic.

Infinity Cigars Day Shift Second Third
The palate notes are toasted cedar, almond, wheat crackers, and light earth. The retrohale is showing vanilla cream, baking spices, cocoa, and a tingle of red pepper flakes. The strength of flavor remains at medium-plus. The smoke output remains excellent. The finish remains medium with notes of almond and vanilla. The spice took a significant step back in the profile, revealing a sweet and nutty core of classic Habano flavors. The ash, burn, and construction remain excellent.

Infinity Cigars Day Shift Final Third
I’m seeing sourdough bread, toasted cedar, rich earth, almond, and hay on the palate. The notes on the retrohale are almond, cream, cocoa, and a hint of red pepper. The strength of flavor remains at medium-plus. The smoke output remains excellent. The finish remains medium with notes of almond and cedar. The sweetness has fallen off a bit. The profile is mainly nutty and bready with a whisper of spice left in the background. The ash, burn, and construction remain excellent. Past the band, the flavors continued to dry but were mainly consistent. I put down the Day Shift with just under an inch left.

Infinity Cigars Day Shift Conclusions
I’m always happy to see new names and faces in the cigar industry, and I’m even happier when they come out tasting this good. The Day Shift is a beautifully constructed Perfecto with a classic Habano profile. I loved the spice at the opening of the blend, and the second third had an excellent juxtaposition of sweet and spicy flavors. Infinity Cigars and Sanj Patel did a great job with the blend, construction, and branding. At $13, the Day Shift is very reasonably priced, especially in this vitola. If you’re a fan of Habano blends or Sanj Patel’s past work, I suggest you dive right in!
